Can someone explain?

For instance, you buy BTC in coinbase (ID given) then send BTC to a non-verified exchange, buy a random alt coin (ERC20 for example), move that to a another unverified exchange and buy BTC back. This would be incredibly difficult to track, no?

If I have to use a single addresses each time I'm doing a transaction, we are speaking of thousands of addresses every year for billions of users for hundreds of years.

It is incredibly buggy and broken. I lost about 1 BTC because the stupid wallet overwrite the private key of the existing address with a new private key for some other address which it generated.
