  6. If you bought your BTC on an exchange (like the vast majority of th epeople), then the government can know how much you have, then they can ask you to send your BTC to their address or send you to jail, it is confiscatable the same way as gold is. you need to somehow hide it.

  13. Actually they can take your bitcoin and all your crypto unless you keep it in a safe place. If you have your coins on punlic ledgers they can be taken away. Thats why i will move them.

  14. The government called for people to turn into their gold into their local fed bank and they got actual payments for it. The government didnt go door to door knocking on peoples doors forcing people to turn in their gold. Which is basically impossible especially these days. They can call for people to turn in their gold is the same thing they can do to disallow and ban all crypto exchanges in the country. Can they ? Yes. Will they? Dont think so. Argument goes both ways.
