As much as I wouldn't want to see a severe deflation, a strengthening USD may initially lead to the price of bitcoin declining.

As a human our ability to store information is limited by our upload speed and our memories. Computers don’t have this problem and are this capable of storing vast amounts of information. With machine learning we can put this information to use and the possibilities are endless. I don’t know, I kinda have mixed feelings on this recession, I don’t know if it’s going to happen like everyone lately seems to think. I think this may be the most epic bear trap in history. If bitcoin taught us anything it’s that the key to long term wealth is HODLing. Maybe the same is true for technology focused companies like Amazon.
@Datadash have you heard Cathie Wood’s (of ARK invest )opinion on the possibility of a recession. She thinks we’re actually entering into a period of exponential growth with the AI, Machine learning , genomic technology, robotics and blockchain technology. I think the bitcoin price predictions kinda fit that narrative too. If millions of dollars worth of value made by technology enthusiast bitcoiners is gained like the models predict, I could see huge sums of money invested in these technologies which grow exponentially. Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk will take us to Mars with the wealth they will make from crypto. Why can’t someone also cure cancer? And what will that type of problem solving do to the world economy.
Please elaborate why Trump or US said China is a currency manipulator while IMF said that they are clearly not manipulating their currency,, Trump was the one to say that now he wants to make all the other countries believe China is a currency manipulator.

Man at least you are aware of whats going on. Seems the 99% are asleep or just cant admit that stock market is way OVERVALUED. I just had an argument with someone about this.
