  5. A stable coin could be corporate, such as from Apple or Pepsi, but it must also be open and decentralized. If Apple says that an Apple coin, which may run on the Ethereum platform, is worth $0.01 and can be redeemed for Apple products, well… we have a stable coin.

  10. we should all ask for our paychecks to be paid in crypto so we can just by-pass banks entirely.
    if you are filling out an application for a job and it asks you on it "desired salary".. list your amount in some crypto.

  12. tether beating everything in volume. crazy stuff. if enough people hold on tight to it and don't sell, then tether will get triggered to auto-flood exchanges with more newly created tether.. that wouldn't it be funny if a lot of stuff sold off all at once that so much got created that it flew up in rank to rank 1 coin.. a stable-coin of all things! i want to see that just for laughs.

  15. In a perfect world id like to see the problem solving alts merge into one big animal to solve most monetary problems and just consume most of the lower cap garbage that claim to better than others. Too much crap still left on the table for me to invest in anything but…Bitcoin!!

  16. In Alberta we are starting to use vent gas that would normally be directly vented to the air or go to flare. That gas is used to power a generator in a sea can that also houses a minning farm. Everyone wins.

  18. $1000 into ontology no one seems to be talking about it but the development is still pushing on, funds are good for years yet. They continue to get partnerships and are always updating the community.

  27. JP Morgan Chase's trading desk employees were just charged with racketeering by the US Dept of Justice. Apparently they "may" have manipulated the market as well as cheating their own clients… The usual scenario is for them to – without admission of guilt – with no jail time or record – pay a fine which is really paid for by squeezing more $ from the working class. If I sound jaded, I am, but it is from experience and history, not attitude or politics…

  38. Swedbank in Sweden the same as Wells Fargo… they were caught money laundering recently and now they don’t allow purchasing on any sites involved with crypto because they “suspect” it may be involved with money laundering… the cheek!!!!
