When you get the darkweb/drug trade answers, my question is always this … Do you not believe that USD is used to purchase drugs and worse?
If you are introducing this concept of crypto currency to someone for international payments, sure xrp might be cheaper, but are you going to tell them about xrp or bitcoin? Everybody's heard of bitcoin because it got here first. I don' t know. MySpace was before Facebook. Now I'm confused.

You have probably found the one and only flaw in BTC…As it has no Company/Ownership there is no one investing in promoting or advertising on how people can join/buy/use the product. Its like competing with a stock market company that spends billions of dollars on advertising and we are sticking posters in shop windows and on telegraph poles.

Alley did not know. It can be traced. It is an immutable ledger. Yes, it is big on the dark web.
Interesting about setting up an account. However on the flip side normal currency method to send money can take a while to set up as well. Think about if you were willing to send cash if they set up a bank account with you.. just as complicated. Same could be said with PayPal.

We have to explain the difference between privacy and decentralization. Decentralization means no entity can stop you from using your crypto anywhere…good or bad. However if you do bad things, you need to still be held responsible. Right now banks and such can just decline transactions you make for no other reason than they have a problem with it. But that isn’t their decision to make. And that’s why we need decentralization. The privacy part of it is much different and only becomes a problem if used preemptively. As long as we have decentralization, our privacy can’t be compromised to preemptively stop transactions. But it can still be use reactively to investigate foul play.

Cash app should be easier for ppl to use with bitcoin and verification should not be just for btc but the whole app.
