At this point, it's reasonable to assume that Jay Clayton's SEC will never approve a bitcoin ETF.
His term ends on June 5, 2021, but could go another 18 months longer.
Usually we'd see new ETF proposals filed immediately after rejection, but it might be time to take a year off.

I don’t see an issue with the hard fork and air drop rules. Just look at your transaction history at the end of the year. You are right that exchanges make it easier with monthly statements and some probably even sending out tax forms. If you don’t use exchanges I recommend CoinTracker.io, best portfolio tool I’ve used. Free tracker with additional tax products for $50 and up.

So their taxing thin air? I though Trump stated crypto being exactly that, based on thin air….. I'm sorry, but air (oxygen etc) is a human and living right. If crypto is thin air it's a human right to own and breathe it and illegal to tax it.
