China is just wasting efforts by targeting Bitcoin in their own country or Bitcoin at all, they cannot stop it in the rest of the world, so they can't stop it at all. Weirdly enough, other mainly communist countries are mining as well and seemingly doing the opposite of China.
The current low we see today might also be the shopping for holiday gifts and entertainments, expecting a slow but steady rise prior to the halving next year.
'The immense corruption going on in Government and BTC is an answer to this'. I burst out laughing loudly when you said that. The crypto market place is so corrupt, so full of scams and con artists, so full of fake news and lies it makes the Gov look like a bunch of nuns.
