5. What Mark Cuban gave as an example was truly terrible. You do not need blockchain for this, because you are implying the trust a third party. You might as well have a distributed database with digitally signed copies of the audit data stored on it. Why? Because a blockchain is NOT a database, which he completely misunderstands. A better solution is to take the hash of the data and signatures store it OP_RETURN opcode on the Bitcoin blockchain – the most secure in the world, with the auditor putting the funds (audit value – equivalent to stamp paper) in the address controlled by the private key, by which OP_RETURN output was generated. But again this is a very bad solution, because it will bloat the bitcoin blockchain from a terrible solution. An even better solution would be to have sidechain storing such kind of hashes, and being check pointed every day/week, as the security required is not as strong.
