HI Nick, In Australia, the government incentive is for retirees to invest in own home, so self managed super funds with high percentage exposure to single markets, are still a 'secondary level' of investment for this particular group, the first being real estate!.
Thats bs. if people want to be stupid with their money they should be allowed to do so. next thing they are going to tell you that you can't own just 1 brand of cereal, you have to diversify into atleast 3.

How do you buy gold?
I don’t have anything against multiple asset classes, gold, stocks, btc, real estate.. everything has its time and place.. gold in 2011 was at $1900 then dropped 40% years later and didn’t do anything for 4 years later. Real estate exploded up like a 3x levered etf in a bull market in 2006 and then crashed and gave up all its gains. People don’t do their research and invest emotionally what they see in their attention span of a fish. Imagine you bought gold near the highs in 2011, after almost a decade you are still still massively underwater all while Btc, real estate and stocks had all incredible gains. Its all relative to timing. The only thing I see and not speculate with theories is that central banks globally are cutting rates, loosening monetary policy and keep running deficits. Based on that i see no asset classes crashing and burning. Put most of my cash into silver, got into crypto late but working on getting my 1 full BTC. I do keep a small 401k as a backup, that I add with my work. As long as you minimize debt and seek out ways to diversify into asset classes your better than 80 percent of the general public I think
Bitcoin 10x will do amazing things for me, even though people may think it's little.

If World Markets are collapsing why would anyone going to bitcoin. it's not proven, gold and silver have a 5000 year proven record. maybe after the collapse Bitcoin will surge again with a new digital currency.
