  8. The one thing the SEC did "right" was to suppress that market and derail popular adoption of cryptocurrencies by rushing the introduction of cash-settled BTC futures in late Dec 2017. More money was lost by retail investors in the debacle that immediately ensued than will ever be saved through so-called "prudent" implementation of "suitable" and "compliant" crypto-based products such as ETF.

  21. I don't understand why people are so thrilled about Grin as a privacy coin, it is considerably less private and secure than established privacy coins. The main feature is reduction of blockchain bloat. Privacy features are somewhat there but nothing significant. It best functions as a sidechain on a real privacy/fungibility focussed chain like Monero for example in my view. Nick, i'm curious what you think about Grins' emission scheme, being flat/infinite. For me that is a reason to not touch it. Beam is different but a 20% dev fund also waves a big red flag for me.
