2020 is going to be an important year for Bitcoin and this is not just speculation. We are talking about the after-effects of bitcoin halving. BTC halving date should be 12th May 2020, and this will be the third time Bitcoin reward generation will be halved.
Bitcoin’s price is being watched very closely by experts. Every day we see hordes of prediction graphs, newer resistance and support levels being discovered. Yet, the impact of Bitcoin halving on its price remains a lesser addressed development. At least this is what happened in 2012 and 2016.

You keep hearing people talk about $250k-$400k and technically we have not even created a new higher high on the daily this has me concerned that too many people are getting over exuberant. Especially since most investors expect the halving to push us into a bull run. Something else what bothers me is now people only see Bitcoin going parabolic if the world is in catastrophe when in fact the majority may choose gold over Bitcoin we have no idea if Bitcoin will be seen as a store of value I see that many are still skeptical and have seen bitcoin wildly fluctuate in price which seems high risk to the majority whereas Gold which is more time tested may be a more favorable secure source for the majority to put their money if times get hard. We cant say if majority will choose Bitcoin or Gold. I think too many assume Bitcoin even though it's still not regarded as a safe haven for the majority of people. So these are my reasons to really step back and be cautiously optimistic rather than full hopium mode.
