LOL, the humor in this video! When there are wealth transfers from space or even from Mars to Earth and back, surely there will be full nodes floating around as added space junk in our orbit by then. Until then, it isn't profitable to start such a venture — so only long delayed sweat equity or ambition or unrequited love of the tech would for now see it through without fail. Sad to hear an older project that was ideologically and technologically sound failed. I think it just isn't yet the right time, and I say that from learning too many lessons the hard way about "timing" lol. If such a project were to make another attempt, would you be interested in collaborating? Asking for far off future reference.

Another situation in which the satellite could be useful would simply be in a remote location, without an Internet connection.
Electricity can be derived from the sun for example, but getting regular access to the latest blocks required Internet until now.

But surely, you understand that we, as a community, need to educate the masses ABOUT Bitcoin, and at the moment, you appear to be addressing issues related to an exceedingly narrow audience of 'experts', relatively speaking. Thus, the question emerges (and I feel compelled to ask, with utmost respect): Why would someone with your unrivaled capacity to carry the torch (no ln pun intended) of Bitcoin wisdom to the masses be devoting such an inordinate amount of time to what could be characterized as fairly obtuse subjects (which btw the cognoscenti will appreciate, undoubtably)? An analogy might be Michael Jackson opining at length about the process of manufacturing a vinyl record, as opposed to packing a stadium and moving tens of thousands to tears with songs like Man in the Mirror, or recording an album which defined his generation? You have your best selling 'albums' in Mastering Bitcoin, Mastering Ethereum, and The Internet of Money, in countless languages; You've testified before government bodies and done more work than anyone I know of (including Satoshi himself, DOCTOR Craig Wright (hahaa… jk) and the core devs, who have also given so generously and made this their life's work, as you have — so this is not a criticism — not at all. Some of us are merely wondering, however, how comes it that our greatest advocate and 'influencer' spends so much of his time with pen and paper when the printing press is at his disposal? Essentially this means you don't need the internet to use Bitcoin. Which is important because this central point of failure (the internet) is often touted as a main argument in the GOLD/BTC debate.
