What are keyless, seedless threshold signatures? Does it have advantages over multi-signature schemes? What are the best practices for key storage by organizations? What is SLIP-39? How do I turn a BIP-39 recovery seed into K-of-N Shamir sharing scheme?

Awesome and excellent content as always. the more I watch crypto YouTubers and crypto videos. The more I see that crypto has a long way to go for adoption. Regular people construction workers fast food workers School teachers mechanics landscapers the list goes on. Those people don't want to deal with having to remember keys or a 12 or 24 word seed. They don't want to know what encryption their money's in or what kind of cryptocurrency their money is. I think it makes it more difficult for them to adopt. No matter what the banks can do something scandalous and unforgivable but people will still feel safe with their money at the bank and it is sad to see that. There's got to be a way to make all this technology simpler for easier for the everyday person that does not understand encryption computer technology algorithms hashing. There's so much technology behind cryptocurrency and blockchain that for now most likely is going to stick to the people that are into computer science Big Time Financial investors maybe Big Time gamers it's hard to convince people to be decentralized and to be their own bank and to be the boss of their money. Maybe that's why it will take years for crypto to get adopted into the big Financial system by the whole world. Thank you Andreas and don't give up fighting the good fight.
Hi Andrea , can I ask a question as well ? Three questions including the first one 🙂
What books are you currently reading ? Do you have a must read book recommendation?
People say you are Bitcoin Jesus but you are more like Anton the God!
Slip39 with a high entropy password is Bitcoin Awesomeness!!!
But I would like to see the addition of a Slip39 + Deep Freeze protocol added to the bip39 protocol too. For use with the user-defined extra passphrase or password option.
In essence I would like to have the option of Quad Factor Authentication. Which would result in four levels of Bitcoin storage ( hot, cold, Slip39 + passphrase and Slip39 + passphrase + Deep Freeze).
Currently bip39 is set to 2048 rounds of iteration. Which is a value that Gregory Maxwell has criticized as being insufficient and meaningless.
I propose that the rounds of iteration be user-selectable based on the character lengths of the user-defined passphrase or password.
The range of iterations could go from the current default of 2048, all the way up to the range of brute force impossibility. Moore's Law could be used as a guide for the range of iteration choice.
For example, a passphrase or password of less than 25 characters could default to the current 2048 iterations. Over 25 characters would progressively increase the rounds of iteration all the way to brute force impossibility.
In fact at a greater than 25 character passphrase or password length Argon2 could kick in with its extra ASIC resistance.
See, I don't care if it takes 30 minutes for my laptop or HW to create or unlock my private keys stored in Deep Freeze. It won't be accessed that often. The option of the added security is worth the small user inconvenience to me.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it..?
p.s. Hey man, thanks for all the Great! info.
Bitcoin is the first, and possibly the only piece of highly valuable personal property you can Truly own..??
Thanks for your videos…you're pretty cute, dude.
