Andreas, genuine question not based on any critical view at all I have great respect for you. But why when you say bully for you you don't need crypto is it always to a forum and conference full of those people who don't need it. Even in Argentina or Venezuela the people that can afford a conference are not the people that need Bitcoin the most. I know you have to make a living too, but what would excite me is an open air talk to 3000 regular people in Mumbai, Zimbabwe or Lima. It's not true to say they all already see bitcoins value and even if they do, you can still help them get more adoption with your wise words. Speak to those that need it, but don't know they do. Just a thought.

How can people use crypto when there's only limited and expensive access to the internet?
Andreas is sounding more and more like a fanatic. I agree with the privacy concerns but why should a bank give an ILLEGAL immigrant a bank account? If you believe in the nation state then we need our borders to be policed properly otherwise we'll end up with anarchy. The only way we'll have an open borderless world is precisely with the totalitarian world government he is against. Look at the Soviet Union or the PRC (&EU) and how they 'manage' disperate regions under their influence! Nation States are good, borders are good, privacy and security is good! Stop conflating separate issues Andreas!

Universal basic bitcoin baby!
I think it was Theresa May that I first heard suggesting removing encryption, by having a back door. Couldn't believe how stupid she was, and then she became Prime Minister. Several other MPs have repeated that. They should talk to people that understand the repercussions.
There are many layers to privacy … we don't want criminals to use privacy to hide behind while committing their crimes … but we do need important details to be kept private and prevent others from stealing your identity. Getting the balance right is important.
