  11. At 01' 50'' Erik Voorhees said in reference to bitcoin 'That it cannot be confiscated, it cannot be stopped' Pity he neglected to mention that it can be stolen just like it was when Shapeshift was hacked in 2016 – what dumbasses they were for keeping funds on hot wallets.

  13. Good interview, much appreciated!!
    I worry that Shapeshift, with it's compulsory KYC, could be a way that the 'bad guys' can see all of your holdings in one place that they have access to, instead of your privacy being better protected when you diversify where you keep your different holdings.

  14. I wouldn't trust anything based in Switzerland after the recent revelations that an encryption firm was in the pocket of the CIA.
    Also, why does Shaftshift keeping running away from regulations? If proper vetting was in place in 2016 then it wouldn't have been hacked to the tune of 469 BTC, 1900 LTC and 5800 ETH from hot wallets – . Also, Shapeshift was partly funded by Roger Ver – this tells you all you need to know in terms of avoiding it.

  18. Two smart guys who don't get it. Fiat is not and never has been the problem. The problem is allowing private central banks to issue fiat to governments at compound interest ie. Usury.

  26. But those that fear adaption will become losers in the end.
    I just saw that Russia's Central Bank has had the Russian government ban crypto's use as a payment source in the country. I see that as a real threat to all cryptos if other nations follow suit.

  35. For me it started with the documentary ZEITGEIST i saw 10 years ago … but it took me another 8 years to understand that Bitcoin was the solution … "From JFK to 9/11 – everything is a rich men's trick" (another great documentary) 😉
