Cardano developers are able to solve a nagging proof of stake issue which may have led to the current pump. The Aeternity community says that it is a better alternative to EOS. The WAVES testnet is launching soon and so is their beta wallet.

Waves isnt just a wallet lol. Its a whole platform. Your waves account holds different cryptos like you can have different cryptos on exchanges. There is a whole decentralized exchange in the wallet which means you are in charge of your funds at all times and can trade coins from within your secure wallet. They have their own delegated staking mechanism called leasing. They hold ICOs on their platform like ethereum does. They just released smart contracts. In the future they will have atomic swaps as well. All in one package. Its a really great project with a working product unlike some of the over hyped top 10 coins lol. But thats crypto 🙂
Among other things, EOS touts no tx fees which might entice users, however, I think this is a flawed approach. While this will be good for small transactions, I think it provides some bad incentives. Spam attacks, high inflation, and no incentive to use off chain channels. Although EOS may be more scalable than current platforms, the on chain tx will eventually meet their limit if a lot of people use it. Aeternity strikes a balance of low fees and low inflation, which will be determined by the stakeholders via built in governance. Aeternity also has better mobile first aepps; overall providing more ease of use for individuals and high functionality for business applications.
I love Aeternity. Its the only coin I hold.
