CPChain’s Principal Scientist, Dr. LONG Chengnian, chats with BlockchainBrad (BCB) about all aspects of his innovative Cyber Physical Chain project. But what is CPChain? Well, put simply, it is a new distributed infrastructure for next generation Internet of Things (IoT). CPChain intends to build a fundamental data platform for IoT system in combination with distributed storage, encryption computation and blockchain technologies, providing the whole process solution from data acquisition, storage, sharing to application. The core feature of the CPChain is to realize the transmission of the value of cyber-physical systems. The main technology contribution is to propose a systematic scheme to address the scalability and real-time problems of blockchain technology in IoTs from the perspective of data storage and computation, and consensus protocols, including parallel distributed architecture, two-layer hybrid consensus mechanism and lightweight side chain consensus protocol.

Great interview Brad and I think everybdy coped well with the language barrier. Having listend to this interview several times I do belive that the potential for this project could be huge if their multi-layered approach works and will look forward to seeing the the Pdash algorythem integrated with HPB–lets not forget both CPC & HPB visted Berkley and Stanford universities in Amercia togther to dicuss cross chain protocols!

I would love to learn more about their marketing strategies. But I really like how they aren't spending money going on big exchanges. At the end of the day they have to have an amazing Product. You can market the crap out of something but if the products sucks marketing will not help you.

Thanks Blockchain Brad. Right now I feel as though blockchain technology is where the internet was at its earliest stages. In those times the companies that really shined and went on to become behemoths that extended its influence to dominate and define the way of life for all the people in the world were the ones that were being run by serious intellectuals. Phd's and post docs that were interested most in the hard technical aspects and pushing the capability of what their improvements can do. Because they were coming from the perspective of not businessmen but curious scientists and engineers. When I look at companies like Zilliqa I see so many parallels between it and Google at the early stages. And CPChain with its roster of published researchers seems to fit this bill as well. Really excited about this space at this moment in history and more companies such as these.
