Are there periods where no trends are present? Assuming yes, roughly what percentage of the time would one be unable to spot a trend? Asking as a newbie who doesnt want to get disheartened when unable to spot a trend.

do you think trend lines are more or less accurate using the logrithmic scale? I've heard some traders recommend linear but I think you're using lograthmic here – not even sure if there's a difference that matters but curious how you think about it – thanks!
