Funny how Andreas broke the rule this one time and answered the question: "How do you ask questions?" 😀
Am i the only one to see that we don't need no exchanges??? All we need is a just one additional layer (something like Segwit) to a blockchain project. Call it Segwit Escrow. Simple Escrow option which will turn ANY COIN to a market place in itself! Just do a couple of lines of code to make an Escrow layer – and your coin not only has value but can be self-tradeable, so anyone can swap values between the blockchains.

Looking for support to demonstrate the Real uses of BLOCKCHAIN.
Consists of a Small 10-20 (more if possible) "citizen" community that uses an offline BLOCKCHAIN (focuses on the digital ledger aspect) to act as the governing entity in a democracy (citizens have access to all community information as well as ability to propose solutions to problems that arise during the establishment of the community.)
Decisions such as what jobs/tasks receive what wages, how communal funds and resources are used, what the "rules" and "consequences" for breaking them are. How they are enforced, and so on and so on.
It is predicted that there will be many obstacles and unforseen problems, but with the platform these are expected in order to establish the necessary backbone of a true democracy. Compromise, equality and consensus are the only obstacles in the way of progress.
