2010-2011ish is when I first got in and most of the trading back then was face to face, video games, or forums. Now there is exchanges every where and losing a few hundred Bitcoins or a few thousand Bitcoins is a big deal. I remember this guy and engineering classmate, who lost 2,000BTC and was like oh well I'll go buy 4,000BTC more next week. That guy left to Europe from U.S after 2017 when he cashed out. He bought again though around $5,000. If some of you guys played Runescape, a lot of people were trading Runescape GP, and Runescape rares for Bitcoins when It was cheap. There was even groups and clans for it lol it was funny to see looked like 1920 stock market. Halo 3 had clans that bought and sold Bitcoin. It was lol interesting hearing the trades online during gameplay. Now I think all those people are rich cause most people were buying and selling hundreds of Bitcoin at a time. Like 30% of the people were buying and selling tens of Bitcoin at a time. The trading Bitcoins on Runescape is still happening but like it was though, cause now it's thousands of dollars. They just trade with rares now or with millions or billions of Runescape GP.

Documentaries are good stuff. Good idea to see both sides of the “coin” though.

Thanks, interesting stuff. While I do hold BTC, I can’t help thinking other cryptos are better for solving the problems described in those videos. For example, if you earn $5 per day, there is no way you would want to pay the current BTC transaction fee.
