A review on some “deep history” of Bitcoin… that is, one year ago. What was SegWit2x? Why should block sizes be limited? What is the “real Bitcoin”? What are the interdependent consensus constituents, and how do consensus changes succeed or fail?

8:10 min hopefully the people that supported the recent stupid BCH fork watched this.
great video as always andreas! i find it fascinating how thousands of people around the world speaking different languages can come to a resolution on something as important as the future of an entire currency!
thanks for the video
we finaly have an equal interdependent user based system that can belong to all of the users of the network. fully integrated. the individual participates
this is nothing else but philosophy
Always enjoy listening to you, best person in Crypto World
Thanks for the uploads.
Wow!!!! very well explained
Stick with XRP and BTC as much as you can guys. If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream may be lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind. just remember where it's going and don't be put off by short term fluctuations and don't facilitate this dream into becoming a nightmare. The coinbase thing will undoubtedly be replaced by another incident but it will always correct to higher until it's mooned naturally. Don't give up on it and start day trading it, it will take too much time and concentration. Remember XRP is probably bitcoin part 2. It is quite unfortunate that the most popular word lately amongst crypto enthusiasts and traders alike is “hodl.” This concept of “holding on for dear life” in itself may not be a bad idea but why hold on to an investment instrument which could make you some money, or make you very miserable tomorrow? Making a good profit off crypto is easy if and only if you can find the right entry point and exit point in your day trading. Someone I discovered that has tremendously helped me with this is Mr. Steve Bradley. He has a system which is so effective it amazes me. I have been using his signals and strategies and have turned out a very impressive profit over the last two months. I would suggest him for beginners and even more experienced traders who have a problem turning in a consistent profit. His contacts are ( stevebradlee @ gmail com com )
Andreas please take a look at the casa Lightning node. Im not a programmer but this seems like a valid way for a computer novice to help improve the bitcoin network
Question: How do you prevent a sybil attack on the non mining full nodes(for example in case of the UASF)? How do we know it was valid?
Thanks for continuing to share your wisdom good Sir!
"miners don't decide the rules" – thanks for speaking the truth Andreas!
500GB ssd cost 100eur.. 100/100mbps connect cost 20eur per month.. upload is appx 400-600GB/month and download appx 100GB.., no problem at all people.. it’s 2018..
I can not believe that doge just keeps falling, I have to believe a rally is coming for it. I keep trying to catch the falling knife but it keeps falling lol. Anyone have some inside perspectives on dogecoin?
How do mining pool operators work, can they change the block rules of the miners without them knowing and surprise attack the network ?
NO2X
Excellent explanation. Love the minimalism and focus on education over entertainment.
how donyou get to 16mb? 2mb blocks x 4 (segwit). wouldnt that effectively be 8 in segwit2x?
Why is this being reposted?
Smashed the like
Just ganna say idk what kind of internet you have but my cost of bandwidth is $0 i can use as much as i want per month no charge not sure what kind of internet provider you have that would limit you. Honestly people argue things like this for keeping the blocks small are mostly from the USA where you probs have limits on your downloads, bandwith etc USA isn't the only country in crypto.
Thanks for the content Andreas! Learned so much because of all you do. Your the best!
