Altcoins havent rallied because many retailers and some investors are leaving this space. So tether has had to prop up this market in bitcoin to keep this belief in a bull market. 2017 bitcoin was 20k with total market cap at 800 billion and only 2.5 billion tethers in supply. Now 2019 bitcoin at 10k total market cap at 275 billion and 4.022 billion tethers are in supply. Almost double. Its obvious many people have left the crypto market because of high manipulation and corruption. Until that is gone the altcoin boom is not coming anytime soon. Until then bitcoin will continue to get pumped. In hopes of bring back investors and retailers but i doubt that will happen until this behavior in the market stops. Alts will have their day but it's nitin 2019, we should be looking at mid 2020 early 2021. In short when Bitcoin crosses its All Time Highs and we enter the mania phase of this bull cycle. Trust me, at that point fundamentals will be out of the window and all coins, including sit coins will pump very hard.
