They don't have to ban it, both the UK and US could regulate or tax Bitcoin or any other cryto to the point of making it completely undesirable as an investment. They have essentially taken down Libra with just hints of investigation and regulation. Trust me, both governments are letting us make our little gains and have fun, let a currency become a real threat and they will squash it like a bug!

Cant be banned but it can be manipulated quite easily. Try turning your coin into cash to spend and watch as they take half! Same as investment in gold on an American exchange. No it doesn't matter if you hide it for a few…if you cash out.. you're going to pay like any other invester.
