Can someone explain his use of fib retracement on this TA? In previous TA's he lines up the top most line with the body of the highest candle stick, but this one he aligns the 0.786 line with the peak of the first major rise

I'm afraid you neglected the history of this coin when it was called antshares. Since they rebranded recently, your software thinks NEO is a brand new coin. Actually as ANS it has a lot of data that you need to include in your analysis.
