when market falls everything falls.  If you look back 2006-08  financial crisis happened and stock market fell  so did " Gold" fell as for everything else. But Gold fell very briefly and we had 4year  Gold bull Run.  I think this time will be very similar to what happened back in 2006-08.  Everything falls Stock market, real estates, and of course Gold and Bitcoin.  But Gold and Bitcoin will recover very fast unlike the stock market or real estates.

Bitcoin is seen as a risk on asset and in any market dump, absent Tetha, well, it will be dumped. it is nothing more than a tradable speculative asset that is neither a store of wealth nor a real means of digital currency for countless of its technical issues: it is not digital gold and speaking it so is pure nonsense. consensus is what give anything value, and well, Bitcoin has a ton of mountains to cross. for starters, its mining in China, a communist nation, that zero to none fully trust especially under current tariff war. second, we have the GIANT ELEPHANT in the room that got Bitcon to the price level that it is currently at, Tetha/ Bitfaniex/Bitfukashima. moonboys are banking on a full blown evisceration of all monetary systems to fully adopt Bitcon when it will never be adopted if they have little to no ability to control it: a MAJOR ROUTE needs to be done for it even come close to this level of adoption when the one that will be adopted is already starring at us all in our faces. Bitcon was the question, and to that an answer was created. want it yet or not, XRP.

Put some money in BTC the money you can afford to lose and keep buying don't stop before you know it you'll have a nice about of BTC. And if it moons great if it crashes big deal you only lost what you could and it doesn't effect you.

I don't see traditional institutions buying bitcoin in recession but they'll buy gold. As for bitcoin price it's hard to say. I would guess it will go up slightly but the halvening will affect more.
