Why couldn't it just stay in a range until the next halvening? When it uptrended in 2017 the crypto market was still a new thing to most people, so it looked plausible that it could keep rising for years, but now why would people think that? There's a lot of competition in crypto now, maybe BTC will be the stable side of crypto pairs from now on. Wouldn't you expect a commodity to at some point settle into a "fair price" range? Maybe you need high margin to profitably trade BTC alone from now on, like world currencies. A bull run in BTC may now mean a rise of about 1-2% per week. I think getting rich by holding BTC is a thing of the past. It would be like holding USD, EUR or whatever. Who does that?
