  20. Love your warning on leverage trading and youtubers advertising it. I have made m ooney from crypto and i have lost money on leverage trading. The volatility can mess you up overnight

  21. Regarding the guy who wrote the post at 3:00 mark who lost his 1 BTC by margin trading, that's not what he should be kicking himself about. In the long run $8K is nothing. His biggest problem was getting a useless degree where he can't get hired and going into debt to get it. That's a huge lifetime mistake that's very difficult to recover from. If he's already in debt it's not like he can just go get another degree and pile on even more debt. Getting a useless degree with no jobs once you graduate is the dumbest thing young people do.

  24. I think it's OK to trade if you take the time to know what you are doing, treating it like a job not the lottery or gambling. Going on Bitmex without at least a year of success trading without margin and doing 100x leverage is ridiculous. This is why we get regulations like accredited investors…if we don't want that kind of regulation, we need to do a better job of educating people as to the risks. Although I kind of think 100x leverage should be illegal IMHO b/c it's just too tempting to noobs. You wouldn't go skydiving with no experience and no help, people just don't get the risks involved but Bitmex also doesn't explain them thoroughly. You can't go on a skydiving plane and just throw yourself out for example, there are procedures. Bitmex needs to have these too…like only being able to trade 2x for a month or two or something at least.

  29. Good for you CD !! I lost some BTC to stupidity and felt suicidal. It's crazy. I came out of it. Dude can too. In the end money means nothing. Dude has youth and health to make up for it. Tough it out.
