It's not awareness or anything. It's just a global slowdown and recession can kick a BTC supercycle.
What does this all mean for alts?
dont listen to all the other experts, make your own decisions… daily candles on bitcoin right now and rsi show weakness and a fakeout/bulltrap is still in play. if daily closes like this it might reverse (double top also) if bitcoin cant turn 9500 into support this isnt bullish at all, dont get exited too much cause of a little green…200WMA can still be tested and i think theres a decent chance for it (around 5300USD), also i dont care for any theorys about supercycles etc i just wanna trade up to the next ath, get out and enjoy my life 🙂

Think the placement of the replicated bars was wrong – we have already had the initial break from the lows (the spike from late 2015 is analogous to that of mid 2019)

Could somebody explain to me why the price of BTC in the next bull run would be much higher than expected?
Is it because if so many people HODL that there's less selling pressure which would mean higher prices for the buyers?
The thing that confuses me is that the prices could deflate A LOT even with lower volumes right?
I still don't like the high fees idea. As long as Bitcoin can still be moved for low fees with a time delay, that's OK. If it costs $10+ to move it and it takes a week, I think Bitcoin is going to lose out to an alt coin. I know the LN could solve small transactions but if Bitcoin is going to replace a lot of fiat, it will still need a lot of onchain transactions.

It’s the corona virus, nothing more.
It went to $14K when mining cost was about $6K so what would it go to when the cost is twice that? Logically, $28K. It would help if exchanges reduced the withdrawal fee from 0.0005 to 0.0001 btc, like some exchanges use now. Isn't it bad enough that it's slow without also being costly to move? Some exchanges even pay the network fees themselves, which is sweet.
