One thing you are forgeting about silver is that it is the 2nd most usable comodity in the world after oil, you need oil for electronics solar panels cloth etc.
So how are we going to avoid technology advance without it? Besides of being money in human civilization history besides gold, my money is on silver!
BSV is the original bitcoin protocol, btc will not last without scalability, bitcoin core don´t want that. BSV has upgraded to 2GB size blocks for everyone to start to build on the network like Lark said it´s all in BSV, besides of low transaction fees!

Bitcoin > Silver > Gold. BUT Bitcoin will be very volatile. Take a position in all 3 I say and rotate based on performance. Expect higher returns on Bitcoin but Silver and Gold will give you stability and you can liquidate these without as a big a temporary drawdown that Bitcoin may experience. There will be times where you may need to liquidate.
I sold most of my silver to buy bitcoin.

Put it like this. Holding something tangible is great. I agree. You'll know it actually there. Lets say cryptos take over. The gold bug where right. The super powers throw a EMP bomb. They wiped out the internet. We went on living without telecommunications. Thats a true dark age. Think about it. Everyone will try to kill everyone. Yea they dont mention that tho. So work will be cut in mass. Circulation of money will take forever. Food will take forever to get there as well. When Gold rained as the true currency. How did it look for the regular people. Not very good at all. So you will go back to being a true peasant. With crypto is the opposite. Thing will still move in fast. Even faster. It will be a better transition for everyone. Jobs will be able to switch over in real time. Communications will be better/faster. Your money wont inflate at all. New development will manifest. A more open market will be better. So the little guy will have a chance to create a real world use case. Instead of just having one or a few companies control everything. Besides that. They wont be able to function right with out tech. Everyone love tech. It will be kinda shaky at first. It will adapt tho. If you go back to metals. Good luck. In time the samething will happen again. That will show that people dont learn. Fiat will be taken off the Gold standard again. Than you'll have inflation corruption, so many wars/death. If you want that. Something is very wrong with you. Just speaking out loud. Could say a lot more. But ?
Gold has very little utility and is not scarce.
Nice debates but at the end of the day we may just have both. A decentralized web would virtually solve the "EMP" issue. If you need liquidity on the global network use crypto. If you want a local physical economy use gold, silver, or still crypto. Gold-backed cryptos have counter party risk. Silver's too rare and gold is too valuable for most people to have.
