657,000 Bitcoin mined every year (1800 x 365). The price of BTC or market must absorb the newly created coins. One year ago BTC was about 6300 before the hash wars started between Craig Wright and Roger Ver. Both dumped their BTC to mine each others coins in an effort to kill the competition. As a result BTC dropped down to 3100 which was a gift to the wise investors.
Does anyone have thoughts on how we can effectively do price discovery on bitcoin if we don’t know exactly how many of them have been lost?
