This is like Phil doing an interview to himself. I mean the girl is pretty, just don’t force her into something she’s not.
I'm so new to investing. When Graham said stay out of airlines I listened.

Selling a position makes perfect sense when it no longer meets your goals/objectives
Why save the airlines? The planes will still be around. The airports will still be around. Let the airlines fail and be bought out by leaders who know how to mitigate risk.
(Now Boeing, on the other hand, I could understand saving, as it has major defense ramifications, and it is the only US airline manufacturer. Although, it definitely still has its issues)

Yes they will be around because people will fly again just like after 911.
Too early to tell what the government will do in terms of the bailout and nationalizing?
This probably goes into the too hard file for now but with a watchful ?
Wow…that last minute……plop!
an exciting time to be an investor
Airlines are unlikely to be shut down for 7 months. I think Delta will make it, people have to fly for business, family, etc. Not cruise lines though, i would not invest $1 in them, even with such low PE. People don't have to cruise, will stay off for some time, and the cruise lines have very low profit margins. Also do not qualify for bailouts due to foreign flags and employees.
I agree with what you have to say about Southwest Airlines, Phil. They're the only airline I'm looking at. Delta's debt is too much for me.
Tide is out and we can see who was swimming naked.
