Where do we get number of 7 to 7.5 percents growth for companies over 140 years?
I agree with what you say, but a little remark: The problem you have with risk is that the term is overloaded. It has a meaning in regular language and a meaning in academic language. The responsible persons in academia "defined" what they interpret as risk. But their definition collides with your intuition (which is perfectly fine, in fact it should). They academics in question should just state that theri version of risk doesn't necessarily reflect risk "risk of losing money when buying a stockj at price x". Their risk is "risk of changes in gradient of the stock price".
Spot on at 52:38 "AAPL could be $150". It dropped to that a couple of days ago.
Hi Phil, I’m a great fan of your teachings and being practicing and desciplining my investment decisions accordingly. I need a clarification.
The historical average PE you mention after 35 18’ which is 15 and historical average earning which is 7,5 and to get the future PE in 10 years you divide the Historical PE by historical earnings.
The 15 you mention, is it the Historical Average Price of a stock and not the historical avg PE??
I would be most grateful if you could kindly clarify this for me. Thank you
Love the information, thank you!
Unfortunately the link for the show notes does not work. Good session though.

I am premium subscriber which I have access for 10 years financial data. I bought your book the Rule#1 from Barnes and Noble last week and I am learning how to invest in stock market using your strategy. I look forward to hear back from you. Thanks, Paul

A great amount of information. Learned much.
Hi, I'm using Yahoo Finance's analyst's estimates to assess Apple's projected growth rate over the next five years and want to confirm I'm looking at the right value. In the video you mentioned it is currently at 14% (which it may have changed from 10 days ago), but when I look at the Growth Est table and the Next 5 Years (per annum) value for Apple I see a growth rate of 15.46%? I believe I'm looking at the right value, but would appreciate a confirmation.
Thank you in advance!
