Hey guys, nice to have Toby on the show. He has some interesting takes. I’m not so pursueded by the asteroidmining argument, seems pretty far away still imho. In regard to bitcoin, what’s your take on the ‘satoshi’-wallet? Doesn’t this feel like a systemic risk for the value proposition of bitcoin?

What happens when miners are losing money!
Having some bitcoin could come in handy during one of these banking system freeze-ups. In times like that you can pay a bill online but of the banks wont transfer the money, your bill wont be paid. If you have btc though you can pay some of your Bill's with it right now. During a big crash however companies will be more than happy to take payment in bitcoin.
The life changes people would have needed to implement to get through this would have had to have been taken years ago. Paying down debt is pointless now. That sort of thing requires years to accomplish. Best to get cash and food and if things get really bad, consider defaulting on your debt if you must.
Going to negative rates is INSANE. Bad times ahead, I'm afraid.
Interesting times. Soon people will be selling assets for pennies on the dollar. If you want a car or a house, the sale will begin in a couple months.

First is deflation. The only way to make money is to short the markets while everything deflated in prices. Cash is King. Then, when bottom is in you buy everything cheap. Wealth changes hands back to the elite
