  1. Just remembered this video, after hearing about pewdiepie going to Dlive. Also was confused between Dlive and dtube. Any idee what's the difference? Just a twitch and YouTube on blockchain!?

  2. Steemit is not doing so great., but Trybe is trying to solve some of the problems with Steemit – like for example rewarding people for good content and not just cicle jerking.. We all want QUALITY content to be rewarded, and Trybe is providing exactly that.

  3. Great intro to Steemit, Heidi. Since you asked for other crypto-social media sites, you should also cover ONO. It is a pretty amazing for being so new. It is like a cross between Steem, Instagram, and Telegram!

  4. Great video thx Heidi!! 🙂
    Learning heaps from u 😉
Currently in the process of doing the big "swapover" as I've totally had enough of these big corporate spies/control freaks!
    Exciting times ahead 😀

  5. Please cover: GNU SOCIAL (and Diaspora too) but definitely glad you're already planning to cover Mastodon. Generally FSF/GNU stuff would be great to see you review..Thanks!

  6. Have you tried out Bit Tube too? Earn crypto while publishing AND watching video’s. There vision is to avoid censorship and don’t use ads. Great team and project, you can also bulk upload your Youtube video’s there too. They are relatively new, but they have a working blockchain and platform short after their ICO. Not just a promise, but a working project. They are updating it too very often. See you there! BitTube

  7. I recently registered my accounts with Mastodon (uses free & open source SW, but AFAIK it doesn't run on a blockchain network) and Minds (runs on Ethereum blockchain). Minds seems pretty cool to me. "TheCryptoLark" has his account there too. I'll gladly follow you there if you decide to give this platform a try 🙂 and I'm looking forward to your future reviews.

  8. Great topic. Mahalo CT. Recently I ironically I got placed in time out on a live stream from a Youtube content provider who is very big on decentralized tech bringing and end to censorship. Go figure. Aloha and G'day!

  9. It might be worth trying to understand why Jerry Banfield went from one of its biggest supporters and whales to not. He has a few videos about why he's less keen on Steemit these days. I think it had a lot to do with the downvote being abused by people, but that wasn't his only issue with the platform.
