Too bad Andreas cannot filter things through a biblical worldview because he would quickly see how much he explains was written 2000 years ago; here is a small example. As far as moral principles that he speaks of one must first consider that truth and morality are two-sides of the same coin and where morality is found so is truth. He mentioned about a moral compass; to where does one get a fixed moral compass; it must by necessity come from outside of oneself and be a source of truth and must be fixed and transcend language, borders and culture to be truthful and fixed. There exists only one and few find it and fewer would want it.

All other "fixed moralities" change with the winds of cultural norms and vary from culture to culture, thus nullifying the very concept and void of truth. It comes from the "religion" known as secular humanism; everyone has a religion in the broadest sense of the word, whereby one determines what is right and what is wrong.

Wow, I like what he said at the end. Sounds like Facebook is addictive like a drug, wonder why people willingly give up their privacy and still use it. Knowing what is harmful about the product, but still willing to use it despite knowing the harm. Trade convenience over privacy.

Currency is irrelevant because it's a transaction mechanism rather than a store of wealth. Bonds paying negative interest simply funnel wealth holders into gold and silver.

If Facebook gets regulatory approvals from the US government for it's Libra coin then won't there be impetus to impose bans on the use of cryptocurrencies that don't have these approvals?

Hey ANDREAS, starting at 30min, you say that a society should want their financial transactions private because we do not work as a penopticon.

Do you think that society will begin to conform and we will end up sharing not just our financial data, but health and behavioral data too? I agree that privacy provides a layer of freedom that allows a social creature like ourselves to express their individuality. I love innovation and using technology in new waves that affect the way we live and interact.

Is it possible that the government will actually realize its true role: governance (detached from monetary fiat value coupons)!

The aggregate of the 4th Industrial Revolution technologies is simply put what I've coined – "The Computing Trinity": Cognitive + Connected + Distributed Computing. The first one is all about AI, ML, DL, RL, etc. The second one is all about IoT, Additive Manufacturing, VR/AR/MR, Drones, etc. The third and final one is all about Blockchain, Cryptoassets, and Cryptonetworks.

I never understood the principles of Andreas M. Antonopoulos. Bitcoin is easily traceable for FBI & Co. I would only support 100% PRIVATE coins: Tokenpay, BTCP, Monero. Libra is a bad joke.
