What I see now is the big news is usually just promising news. The hype is usually underwhelming.
If a guy is involved in metals they are bullish on metals and nothing else.
If a guy is bullish on crypto currencies he is bullish on crypto currencies and nothing else.
The same holds truth for stocks.
Personally I do care what I can make money off of. Why should I care.
Today it is bitcoin. Tomorrow it might be a used car.
