Substratum (SUB) – What is it? Should you invest in it?

My only concern is will the general public care about their privacy enough to join the network? I feel this could keep the value of SUB relatively low.

I didnt understand who will host the websites. For example, Twitter. Who will host twitter in the substratum network? Any user can do that? Or just twitter company? And other thing, how do the browser of the person who is acessing will access that website from substratum network? Won't be necessary to be connect in some kind of web? If so, how will people connect to this web/network without any programs?

Please someone answer me, I am interested in the project, but didnt get those points.

How IS this different from a VPN? And if govt outlawed vpns why wouldnt they outlaw a Substratum app?
