It blows my mind. The whole point of crypto is to cut out the middle man who gets fat by just taking a cut of every transaction. If you use the credit or debit card with crypto you are still paying the middle man. The Evolution is coming.

It depends on what type of crisis we have. If there is a currency crisis money will likely flow to precious metals and perhaps BTC for the scarcity and low inflation.

Sadly, the traditional economy crashing probably will mean a rise for crypto and precious metals, as well as bonds. Why? Because all that Wall St. money needs somewhere to go, and the stock market is going to be tanking. They can't get the yields they need to satisfy their investors in bonds. They need more diversification than 100% precious metals. Hence, the relentless pursuit of BTC ETFs. They know they're going to need crypto, complete with derivatives, to move their trading over to, including their market manipulation.
