Learn How to Become a Better Day Trader
In no way is day trading stocks easy. That said, as a beginner trader, you can learn from the mistakes of others and save a lot of money. At Investors Underground, we teach traders to refine their trading strategies and maximize their potential to make money in the stock market. While this is not a science, we rely on certain principles to add more structure to the seemingly chaotic markets.
Technical Analysis and Chart Reading
We utilize pattern recognition strategies to create high probability trading opportunities. By analyzing stock charts and market data, we can take the emotion out of day trading and increase our odds of making money in the markets. These concepts are discussed in-depth in our educational trading courses.

LOL "the problem with your trading is not that you need to study more most likely. it's prolly you."
Nice vid

Continued solid guidance. Thank you so much!
Thank you Dante for this great post.
Great advice! I needed to hear that today!
Dude ur videos are awesome….thanks
newbs study lots cuz they think they'll be able to spot the undefeated setups. but what they dont realize is that all setups are like 50% accuracy, so treat them all wit a grain a da salt. trade small and cut em quick. newbs trade huuge and hold till they explode
i can relate to the entire bag of cool ranch doritos, Dante. the flavor pairs well with self loathing i find
I don’t agree with everything he says. Chart is very important.
do u have charts from 2008 -2009? I think u gotta see that period to see price action under the worst conditions
Thanks man
What new traders need to understand is that they need to be able to read the emotions of the charts. By this, I mean understanding when a stock has heavy short interest, it is crowded, the MM's are propping it up, etc. This only comes by watching the action. Not only the charts and "patterns," but the Level II and the tape. You need screentime. Not just "studying," but watching the overall action live OVER and OVER again. This will give you an idea of the psychology of other traders and help understand WHY the chart moves the way it does. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
Very good point Dante. It was only a while back I was staring at tandem trader, thinking what does he see that I don't, what am I missing, only to finally realize, the reason I am not seeing it, is because I am too close. I needed to take a step BACK, to see the FULL picture. Started meditating to get better at being in the now moment, and my trading started improving. VERY UNDERRATED IDEA, that balance is the key to success, not realizing that you must push hard but also know when to pull back will prevent you.
You can only study so much to learn patterns and level 2 tape reading etc. At the end of the day it comes down to your psychological discipline to stick to your plan each and every trade.
Very good video. Thanks.
Good stuff
Thanks for the input, always helpful to hear successful traders talk about this stuff. I'm a newbie trader with a question here: wouldn't you agree though that if you find a pattern through study that gives you an edge, that should give you the confidence to trade well and therefore help the mental game?
Trader psychology is so key
GG thanks for the content
That is so true!
History doesnt necessary repeat but it rhymes
I could not agree more. I see so many of these newbies that are constantly blabbing about how they're studying hard by looking at charts, and they think that will bring success. While it definitely is a key component, until people begin to study the psychology of trading, and understand themselves, they won't make it in the game.
Thanks a lot Dante!
