I picked up a handful of ALTs in December honestly I felt unsure about my decision at the time but I was able to sell out my original investment back into BTC and I am just riding out them either until they double again or drop low enough for a new entry. I mean in hindsight I wish I had bought more although if I had done that I wouldn't be in as a good position in BTC as I am currently which I did dca into this is because when I was trading the run up last year my friend and I would compare our accounts and while I did make some awesome gains on trades he was just buying the lows and he ended up with higher % gains overall I am guessing this is because he was able to capture every run up while I would buy the low sell the high sometimes it would keep going up past where I had sold and the low would be harder to catch. I do recommend when you get a really good position in a coin and you really want to trade to definitely just sell your initial investment where you think the peak might be (use a chart of course) and then wait for a dip then if you do think it's a good low buy back with half of your initial investment that way if you have a good position then you won't ruin your position and can still sell for a profit if trade turns south. If it does turn south at that point take out your entire investment and just wait for a bear market and dca back into a low position.
