Hi Steve, i think i am seeing this a little differently, am i way off or is it possible this is another option? – from the low of 11/2012 to the high of 12/2013 is one full bull cycle and 399 days, the mid cycle pull pack in the middle of the cycle from 4/2013 to 7/2013 was 84 days (a mid cycle slowdown). Then the 2nd bull cycle was from 9/2015 to 1/2017 819 days but i notice it also had a mid cycle slow down from the 6/2016 to 8/2016 for 84 days! amazing. Now we have to be careful using data prior to 2012 as stated by Willy Woo "this period of action was not through trading but through mining". Meaning if we compare the data from the two true bull cycles there is another trend to note. The 2nd bull cycle lasted roughly twice as long as the first! – the mid cycle pull backs were both 84 days, and the bear cycles as we know from this channel were almost identical (only around 50 days different from the highs to lows)
As adoption, awareness and on ramps develop during bear cycles, it possible that the bull cycles are lasting twice as long as the previous cycles for this reason?
Throw it on a chart it does look pretty solid, also it blends well with the halvings.
