What You Should Get Out of a Stock Trading Seminar…

I’d like to outline the advantages and disadvantages of attending a stock trading seminar and what you should expect when attending.
I have attended a few stock market seminars, but I mostly stick to business seminars covering areas like marketing and business development. I do this, because I believe that stock trading is more of a personal, inner game.
You will gain the same knowledge at a stock market seminar as you will at a business seminar with only slight differences…
What Do You Gain?
When I attend business seminars, I mostly gain networking opportunities. I find opportunities to build a relationship and work with other companies, other people, and gain insight and ideas from them.
When attending stock seminars, you will find the same gains on a stock market level. You will get insights and ideas about trading, how to trade, etc…
If you don’t have a system in place yet or an idea of the direction you want to go in, seminars may give insight into other strategies that may work for you.
Inner Game
Stock seminars will also teach you about technical indicators, chart patterns, etc., but I find that most people struggle with the inner game and inner psychology factors.
One of the greatest things you can do when attending a seminar is to look at your inner game – see how it relates to you. As you’re talking and networking with others at the seminar, see how what they’re saying applies to you.
