  1. it is better to just buy a Ledger , destroy your Trezor or Keepkey . It is worth destroying your Trezor rather than losing your cryptos inside. Just transfer them to a Ledger.

  2. One doesn't physically have cryptocurrencies even if they have a wallet…. it is the same thing as having a Credit Card or a Check from your bank. The Crypto isn't on hardware devices, computers or even paper wallets. These mentioned above are only access to the ledger. So you can't ever physically own crypto in physical form. Therefore, if TSA or whomever asks how much crypto you are carrying … ZERO is the real answer.

  3. When i travel with a hardware wallet i just reset the device with a new seed. When you split and encrypt the original seed and store the parts on diffrent locations you are quite safe. If i need acces to the coin i restore them.

  4. Bitfi hardware wallet is the only way to go. You create the wallet each time. Nothing is stored on the wallet, like

ledger or Trezor. The keys stay in your head. Confiscation won't matter.

  5. Good strategy would be have a passphrase. And if hardware wallet gets stolen have a second one set up and move funds to a different private key

  6. If it really is this easy to hack a Trezor wallet someone should give them the (deceased) CEO of QuadrigaCX's Trezor to these guys so they can unlock it and dish out the $140million+ in bitcoin back to the users.
I'm a developer, I own a few Trezor wallets, I don't see how this could be done. I imagine it is merely a scare tactic from the Ledger Nano S marketing department!
