I’m not sure if you’ve covered it before but maybe you could do a video explaining patterns in the corrections we see when bitcoin reaches its ATH then crashes down – Are there corrections of 70, 90% etc we see repeating over the years. Pensions and 401ks with employee auto deposits will still keep buying stocks on autopilot. So not sure how that market really contracts, despite institutional investors not buying as much. So long as such strong demand is baked in, and you've got algos riding the currents and amplifying everything, we may be extremely surprised how far this thing can go. Let's say the algos are set to keep buying every dip so long as the Fed has cut rates in the last 6 months. Powell has 2 years left of such cuts without going into the same negative rate territory Europe and Japan are in. And the retirement accounts will definitely keep rebalancing in and buying in. There are lots of possibilities for how this thing can be dragged out to all new highs for years to come. Meanwhile, stores are closing, homelessness is growing, and more and more people work 2-3 jobs just to make ends meet.

Hey Nick, I like your level-headed analysis, but you (understandably) are "just" analysing US equities. I would also be curious about your take on EM.
I think Ray Dalios Pure Alpha has a big chunk in EM right now.

What do you think, in what way would a stock fall during a recession period play out on the BTC market? Setback as well? Because people need their money out of any investment or will flow money into crypto as a hedge and push prices?
Obviously both will happen but will it 'hurt' less or even give a benefit to be partly in BTC when the recession goes fully ahead?

The index investing fad has definitely become overextended. Despite all the "you can't time the market" advice commonly dispensed, P/E ratios do accurately predict returns over a ~10 year period. Far better to shift between asset classes based on relative valuations…and right now, metals/crypto are the place to be.
