IMO the initial pump was due to China's statement. Remember, it's said that there are huge BTC mining farms in China. However, it was then sustained by FOMO on the part of Westerners. I believe it'll soon experience a significant decrease.
Having said that, I expect the REAL flood of currencies into BTC to be in 2020 when the global financial meltdown hits and billions of rich and poor people around the world seek a safe place for their fiat currencies.
