Regarding the chart comparing gold to bitcoin over gold's past 50 years, it shows a 300% increase in price for gold from 1980 – 2011. However, the price of gold was actually HIGHER in 1980 than is was in 2011, so it seems who ever created this comparison, modified the gold chart to make it look more like bitcoin's? Bitcoin is devolving into an object to gamble on. Bitcoin "enthiusiasts" getting all worked up over fictitious paper versions being created to "trade" it. When has this ever been a good thing? Gold? Silver? We even gamble of a commodity of a indicator of a average price of 500 stocks. When the people who create this shit can not control the actual asset, they create paper versions of it that they can, and convince everyone the price of the paper representation is more relavent then the price of the thing it represents. Yay! A bitcoin ETF is coming to add to the bitcoin futures contracts. . .Yay!
