i think if India bans crypto and it gets allot of coverage it will cause price to go down, if it does not get coverage there will be little effect on price. What I'm really hoping for is India bans crypto currency but in the end it doesn't really do anything because of the nature of crypto

Dont know when new rules will come for crypto in India, it will be a year that Indian govt is coming with rules for cypto but so far nothing has happened, which is many traders have come to localbitcoins for trading as it doesn't come under government control.

Hi, Nicholas, I am from India .. first of all, that report is a "from unnamed sources" and it probably is click bait as there are no government sources who have come out and said anything about a ban. Secondly, you are absolutely right, the last Government made a mess of the economy. People who understand what is happening is furious or planning to leave the country. I see so much of the youth planning to just immigrate. But sadly, the prime minister is a clever man and he has duped the people into thinking he is the best thing for the nation when he actually achieved very little, in fact, he ruined so much, the price of oil, employment is at its 45 years high, take over of Governmental institutions and fundamentalism is rising as well. It is not a good state of affairs here. The only thing left is the courts for the common man, the other institutions have already been heavily corrupted. Sad days ahead possibly in India if this Government continues.
