How can I check if a bitcoin address is blacklisted? Why does blacklisting addresses not work? What are your thoughts on surveillance companies in the industry? What does it mean to build unstoppable code in a world of regulations like KYC/AML? Is there a fundamental difference between writing code and running a business?

  1. When Epic Cash launched their MimbleWimble coin last week I was super excited. Fungibility is super important. When I see BTC Maximalists praise transparency it makes me cringe. I will Hold some BTC but it is no longer my number 1 choice.

  2. – i admire andreas because he is not affraid to say what other crypto spokesman and youtubers are affraid to say , like IvanOnTech , he is so cowardly trying not to say anything against anyone no matter how corrupted or disgusting they are , and he is covering it by the priniciple of not being political , but the real reasons are purely comercial (everybody must like me and watch my channel) , as a honest human being and public persona you have an obligation to speak in the interest of truth, justice and equality , what a piece of shit

  3. You are describing a test of 'purpose.' Everyone and every fool will tell you, "don't do it!"

If you don't have a strong will – you will 'give in' to the Struggle itself.

It is also test of persistence (Not for the 'tired' or those that lack intrepid curiosity) and a crude I.Q. Screen.

This will leave 80% of the population OUT until there is a painless, 'one-click' 'dummy switch' Gateway.

  4. People just entering crypto with fiat won't know enough to care about their purchases being tied to their identity. And other than maybe trading some crypto for other crypto, they are unlikely to do anything else with it except sell it back into fiat after it appreciates in value. Those 2 things are all they're buying it to do, so as long as they intend to pay taxes on gains (and deduct for trading losses), full KYC on all their activity doesn't really matter to them. Those who care about the concept of anonymity and financial independence will hopefully have their fiat already in the crypto space before these laws go into effect, or at least know people who do. They can stick exclusively to decentralized exchanges up to the point that they may want to sell crypto for fiat. What happens at that juncture after such laws might be implemented is the question. We are much farther off from the day when one can pay their rent in crypto than we are from when price will appreciate enough for someone to want to be able to use it for the down payment on a house.

  5. Andreas, their lookup is outsourced to specialty companies, and their algos are far more sophisticated than a simple lookback at N number of tx. Their methods are quite sophisticated, and EASILY able to see past 3, 5, 10 simple transactions to new addresses. I usually love your content, but it seems irresponsible to not tell people the truth about this situation.

  6. The real goal by the globalist regulators is to make having Bitcoin, or a Bitcoin-related business, so difficult and onerous, and try to taint it as illegal with so many rules that users and people will give up, because they make it illegal. They make it inconvenient. They make it inferior to their already inferior economic systems

  7. Blacklisting is one thing, however, whitelisting is another ==> Every Bitcoin-address is blacklisted unless it has been registered with the authorities. I can see something like this happen.

  8. No harm, but what a load of horseshit this explanation/solution is.

Just take your finger out, and talk sense.

Privacy-by-Design or Privacy-by-Default cryptocurrency is what is required – and you Sir, should be saying as such.
