“Binance is going to announce the acquisition of CoinMarketCap later this week”. Several respected news sources such as TheBlock and Forbes are reporting on a $400 million deal that is in the last stage for Binance to acquire CoinMarketCap. This would make it one of the biggest deals in crypto, ever.

CoinMarketCap is the most-visited crypto website in the world, while Binance is one of the most-visited crypto websites and the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. Binance has the cashflow to do strategic acquisitions and this seems to be their biggest one so far.

A genius move or is there a conflict of interest? My thoughts in this video.

  1. Doesn't sound like a bad thing tbh. Now you'll know exactly how well every other exchange is doing and just assume binance is always lying and go somewhere else. The only ones this really affects are day traders. Hodlers aren't gonna care.
