Venezuelans are victims of US sanctions? Blame socialism 100%…not US.
Interesting points! I just hope things I'm embarrassed to own won't be on the blockchain.
The US government owes $21 trillion in unplayable debt. Usury is a problem for any country. Usury is why the Roman empire collapsed.

The West… that does not make geographical sense? Oh you mean how capitalism only works for Colonial Powers. Yes that is true. If you are in the Indonesian archipelago then you can learn about its history and understand why much of its wealth was (and still is) controlled by foreign corporations belonging to the Anglo Empire.
You can see that 75% of all mineral wealth is extracted and off-shored by Freeport McMoran, Newcrest, and Newmont etc… Being local you can witness first hand how sophisticated "western marketing" brings freedom fries & cola to the masses! How marketing from nice white christian folks actively promote the use of addictive substances such as tobacco to children. See all those cigarette buts from HM SAMPOERNA that is 97% owned and operated by Philip Morris International who strip mine profits from brown people whilst leaving them with cancer…
If all the Finance Cost (Manufactured US paper Dollars) is imposed on the nation, (IE: you cant import or export without buying that paper) and all of its minerals are shipped offshore for processing then not much is left. What little money remains is captured by dominant monopolies in Pharmaceutical, and Consumer goods (Unilever & Nestle) then yes, "Capitalism" does not work for these countries because it's not meant to dear… The West pays good bribes to ensure puppets like Suharto could sign away national resources and to police the population in return the mafia installed by our boys get to siphon off $35 billion USD from the coffers. That's how it works.
You have an iPhone and synthetic Nike shoes to match your nice black spandex legings because we steal the oil & minerals cheap, we then force children to manufacture them, and we dump the chemical waste in the ocean. 🙂 Awesome. How can we possibly steal any more? Hey let's con these people into financialise their little bungalows and family farms to gamble with… Good idea!
Always love the combo of an asset that helps people in lesser developed economies and embraces capitalism. Nice work as always!
Is that one of the gili islands?
That book is amazing!
Read John Perkins Confessions of an Economic Hitman
Haven’t read that book yet, but at the brink of things about economy is something way deeper. And this is being explained in “the creature from jekyll island” by Edward Griffin.
Yep, this is why I got into crypto in the first place, to level the playing field for mankind.
Any country that is just coming out of communism will have struggles for a while. You reap in a different season than you sow. They just need to be focused on sticking to the plan and electing competent leadership that understands all the ins and outs of capitalism. Import/export ratio is a big deal. Which means they need people to trade with. Which means they can't be making enemies like Chavez and Maduro have. If their leaders work smart, they can increase the value of their currency and the people will be better off. Crypto might help people in the future, but it will never fix bad policies.
